From Ayodhya to Chitrakoot, there will be a rejuvenation of the pilgrimages along the 102 km long Ram Van Gaman Path. Under this, along with the construction of ashrams, monasteries, temples, and pilgrimages connected with Van Gamaan Marg, basic facilities will be connected. The development of these pilgrimages is being planned to promote religious tourism. For this, the survey has been started.
Along the way, Lord Rama along with his brother Lakshman and mother Sita embarked on a 14-year exile journey, the shrines of cities and towns along its banks will be decorated. More than two dozen pilgrimage sites will be developed for tourism between Prayagraj via Shringverpur through the border of Ayodhya. Prabhu Shriram stayed at Shringi Rishi's ashram in Shringverpur while going to the forest.
According to mythological beliefs, in the same ashram, to get a son, King Dasaratha performed a yajna only in the acharyatva of Shringi Rishi. Lord Ram, Lakshmana, and Sita rested for a while in the temple situated at Shringverpur and Kurai after Ramchaura, the first stop of Van Gaman. After this, Lord Rama reached the ashram of Bharadwaj Muni in Prayagraj and then Sangam ahead of Kurai.
Apart from Bhardwaj Ashram in Prayagraj, Durvasa Ashram, Balmiki Ashram, Parashar Ashram will also be decorated in terms of religious tourism. According to XEN PK Chaudhary of the NH section, the survey has been started. There are also problems due to crops in the fields, but both the strength and beauty of the Ram Van Gamaan Path will be unmatched. The small roads included in the proposed path between Pratapgarh and Chitrakoot will be converted into highways.
