Ghaziabad witnesses 267 cases, Noida sees 186

GHAZIABAD/NOIDA: A day after registering the highest single-day spike in cases, Ghaziabad on Sunday added 267 new Covid cases, taking the district’s tally to 10,787. As many as 126 patients were discharged after getting cured on Sunday.
Currently, 1,968 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals and home isolation. The district’s recovery rate stands at 81.07% while the case fatality rate is 0.67%.
Meanwhile, Noida recorded 186 fresh Covid cases on Sunday and 168 patients recovered in the past 24 hours. The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the district now stand at 10,192. The district has 2,008 active cases and so far 48 people have succumbed to the virus.
