Three friends killed as car hits tractor in Jaisalmer

JAISALMER: Three friends were killed when the car in which they were travelling from Ahmedabad to Jaisalmer hit a tractor trolley near Devikot, around 40km from the district headquarters, on Sunday.
Six others were also injured in the accident and three of them have been referred to Jodhpur in critical condition.
The deceased include two residents of Ahmedabad and the tractor driver, a resident of Barmer.
Additional SP Rakesh Bairwa said five friends, all residents of Ambavadi in Ahmedabad city, were coming to Ramdeora in Jaisalmer for paying obeisance at Baba Ramdeo.
Their car hit the tractor trolley. Three persons died on the spot. The bodies have been kept at mortuary and their family members have been informed. Police have started an investigation into the incident, he said.
