Pune: Drunk driver hits car leaving two injured in Hadapsar

Pune: Two people were injured in an accident where a drunk person hit the speeding car on them on Sunday. The incident took place at Hadapsar-Saswad road on Sunday. 

The Hadapsar police detained the driver from the spot. The driver has been identified as Ravindra Khese.

According to the police officials, the driver was allegedly drunk. He rammed number of people leaving two people injured including an auto-rickshaw driver. The incident took place in front of IBM in Bhekrai Nagar on Sunday evening.

The drunk driver was in speed as a result number of vehicles were damaged and it also led to some traffic jam in the area. People caught the driver and handed him over to the cops.
