NEW DELHI: S&P BSE MidCap index was trading higher at 02:01PM (IST) on Monday.
Shares of MPhasis (up 9.84 per cent), Oberoi Realty (up 9.42 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Infotech (up 7.18 per cent), Shriram City Union Finance (up 7.16 per cent) and Page Industries (up 6.93 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Future Retail (down 4.28 per cent), Bharat Heavy Electricals (down 1.75 per cent), Bank of India (down 0.73 per cent), Crisil (down 0.53 per cent) and Hindustan Aeronautics (down 0.52 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The S&P BSE MidCap index was trading 2.2 per cent up at 14981.82 around 02:01PM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 49.70 points at 11514.15, while the BSE Sensex was up 163.19 points at 39017.74.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 25 were trading in the green, while 25 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Ashok Leyland, Edelweiss Fin and Federal Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of MCX India, Persistent Sys, Syngene International Ltd., APL Apollo Tube and MphasiS hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while 7NR Retail Ltd., Darjeeling Ropeway Company Ltd., Panth Infinity Ltd., Innovative Ideals and Services (India) Ltd., Jinaams Dress Ltd., Saffron Industries Ltd., Virgo Global Ltd., Unishire Urban Infra Ltd., Mukat Pipes Ltd. and Colorchips New Media Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
