Covid-19: 3,215 cases on Sunday; West Bengal past 2 lakh-mark

KOLKATA: West Bengal crossed the two-lakh total cumulative Covid case mark on Sunday, a little over a month since it reported its first lakh cases on August 11.
The state’s active case count dropped to 23,624 on Sunday from 25,846 on August 11. There were 3,215 new cases, 58 deaths and 3,054 discharges in the last 24-hour period.
