India’s premier health institute on Sunday said Shah will be at AIIMS for up to the next two days. “Amit Shah, honourable home minister, was discharged from AIIMS, New Delhi, after post-Covid care on August 30. As per advice given at discharge, he has now been admitted for a complete medical check-up before parliament session for 1-2 days,” Dr Aarti Vij, Chairperson, Media & Protocol Division, AIIMS said.
Shah was earlier admitted to AIIMS on August 18 for post-Covid-19 care after he had complained of fatigue and body ache, days after he tested negative for novel coronavirus infection. During his previous stay at AIIMS, Shah continued to work from the hospital. Shah was earlier admitted to Medanta hospital in Gurgaon after testing positive for Covid-19.
