National Testing Agency (NTA) has implemented a comprehensive plan to hold NEET UG examination in a hassle-free manner. Over 15 lakh candidates have registered for the NEET examination, which is being conducted today. Catch live action here
Dress Code
• Candidates will also be required to carry their personal hand sanitizer, water in a transparent bottle, mask and glove.
Dress Code for NEET 2020
• Slippers, sandals with low heels are permitted. Shoes are not permitted.
• Light clothes with long sleeves are not permitted.
Change in Exam Centre: No need to panic
Candidates should note that there is no change in the Centre Cities only Centres have been changed. The concerned candidates have already been informed by NTA through SMS and email. They were also informed telephonically.
Change in NEET 2020 exam centres
The NTA has changed NEET (UG) - 2020 Examination centres for some of the candidates. All candidates are advised to check their admit card carefully and report to the centre as mentioned in the Admit Card.
The objective of the Advisory is to ensure the following
• Safe and secure environment for all stakeholders involved in the examination process using touch-free processes wherever needed
• Maintaining social distancing measures
• Follow the guidelines and procedures recommended by the Govt
• Integrate measures with existing processes/ procedures / controls
• Be on the same page with respect to the actions to be taken by all stakeholders/functionaries towards safe conduct of exams
Advisory regarding Covid-19 for All Functionaries
Advisory regarding Covid 19 has been released by NTA for ensuring social distancing outside the examination hall, the entry and exit of candidates has been staggered.
Number of students per room
The NTA has reduced the number of candidates per room from earlier 24 to 12 now.
This year, over 15 lakh candidates have registered for the NEET examination.
Exam will be conducted from 2pm to 5pm. Last entry to the examination centre will be allowed up to 1:30 pm only.
The NEET UG Exam will be of three hours.
