Actress
Kangana Ranaut, whose office in Bandra was partially demolished by BMC, recently met the
Maharashtra governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at the Raj Bhavan. While the exchange of words on social media between Kangana and
Shiv Sena continues, the actress along with her sister Rangoli Chandel met the Governor and shared the 'unjust treatment' they have been receiving.
Taking to Twitter, Kangana shared a few pictures with the Governor and wrote, "A short while ago I met His Excellency the Governor of
Maharashtra Shri
Bhagat Singh Koshyari Ji. I explained my point of view to him and also requested that justice be given to me it will restore faith of common citizen and particularly daughters in the system."
"I told him about the unjust treatment I've received. I hope justice will be given to me so that the faith of all citizens, including young girls, in the system is restored. I am fortunate that the Governor listened to me like his own daughter," Kangana told ANI after the meeting.
While the Governor had expressed his displeasure over BMC's move of demolishing Kangana's office, he had even met
Uddhav Thackeray’s principal advisor Ajoy Mehta to discuss the situation earlier on Friday.
Meanwhile, the Bombay High Court has ordered a stay on BMC's demolition drive at Kangana's office in Mumbai. Meanwhile, Kangana, who took to social media to slam Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray for the demolition of his office, two police complaints have been filed against the 'Manikarnika' actress.
