Mumbai: Resident doctors put up the black bandage, protest against the circular issued for quarantine

Resident doctors in the capital of Maharashtra, the worst-affected state of Corona in the country, protested against the new circular issued by the administration by putting a black band on Saturday. According to the directive issued in the new circular, doctors treating Kovid-19 patients get only one day off.

Explain that earlier the resident doctors had demanded from the administration that they should be quarantined for at least six days after working for seven days. Failure to do so will not only prevent the spread of disease among doctors, but it can also have a negative effect on health workers.

The BMC recently issued a circular in view of the rising cases of coronavirus in Mumbai and this comparative decrease of health workers. According to this, the doctors doing corona duty will have to stay in quarantine for five days after work, while they will have to return to work after that.

Along with using AYUSH doctors to overcome the shortage of doctors, resident doctors working in peripheral can also be put in covid duty.
