Mushtaq Chaya, the Chairman of Kashmir Hoteliers Club, has recently urged for government’s help to redevelop the ailing tourism sector of the state.
To quote Chaya while speaking to KNS, he said, “People associated with the tourism sector are trying hard to get tourists here but domestic tourists are reluctant to leave home due to Covid. Government should help tourism sector and people associated with it.”
He has demanded the government to look into this matter and help in reviving the sector. Chaya mentioned that tourism sector is currently going through a extremely bad phase and shape. “By the time there is good arrival of tourists, people associated with tourism should be able to survive by then and they can survive only with government help.”
