The country has witnessed a spurt in corona infection cases for the second consecutive day. New cases of corona infection once again broke all records in one day on Friday. On Friday, 96,551 new cases were reported. With these new cases, the number of Kovid-19 patients in the country has increased to more than 45 lakh 62 thousand. But, it is a matter of relief that the number of people recovering from the disease has also increased. According to the data, over 35 lakh 42 thousand people have been cured so far.

According to the data updated by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Friday morning, the death toll has risen to 76,271 with 1,209 deaths in the last 24 hours. Cases of infection in the country have increased to 45,62,415, of which 9,43,480 people are undergoing treatment and 35,42,664 people have recovered from the disease after treatment. Foreign citizens are also involved in total cases of infection.

According to the Health Ministry data, the recovery rate of patients has gone up to 77.65 percent while the death rate has come down to 1.67 percent. At the same time, 20.68 percent of patients are undergoing treatment. The corona mortality in the country is lower than the global average.

More than 11.5 lakh samples tested in the last 24 hours

According to data released by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 5,40,97,975 samples were tested across the country as of September 10, of which 11,63,542 samples were tested on a single day on Thursday.

According to the data, of the 1,209 people who died in the last 24 hours, the highest was 495 people from Maharashtra. Apart from this 129 of Karnataka, 94 of Uttar Pradesh, 88 of Punjab, 68 of Andhra Pradesh, 64 of Tamil Nadu, 41 of West Bengal, 28 of Delhi, 25 of Haryana, 21 of Madhya Pradesh, 18 of Assam, 16 of Chhattisgarh, Gujarat. According to the data, Kovid-19 has so far 1,661 in Madhya Pradesh, 1,192 in Rajasthan, 940 in Telangana, 940 in Haryana, 907 in Haryana, 845 in Jammu and Kashmir, 785 in Bihar, 591 in Odisha, 517 in Jharkhand, 493 in Chhattisgarh, Assam. 414, 396 people have died in Kerala and 377 in Uttarakhand.
