Beauty queen detained for stabbing a woman in the supermarket

Former beauty queen and model Natalya Dolganovskaya has been taken into custody for attempting to murder a staff member of a supermarket.

The 32-year-old was heard yelling “'I hate women” as she ran towards the woman and repeatedly stabbed her. The act was caught on CCTV where Natalya was seen attacking the victim by pushing her on the ground near the fruits and vegetable section before stabbing her on the neck.

The incident took place in Gulliver supermarket, Ulyanovsk, Russia. The beauty queen was finally stopped by the security, staff members, and a customer who rushed to rescue the 36-year-old shop worker, by pulling Natalya off the victim even as she kept jabbing her with the knife.

The victim has been admitted to intensive care with seven serious wounds to her head, face, neck, hands, and spine. Though she has multiple wounds the paramedics have confirmed her life is now out of danger.

The police have been investigating to establish all the circumstances of the incident, although as per evidence it seemed like a random, unprovoked attack by the accused. The former beauty queen who is a divorcee continues to work at a store owned by her ex-husband Vadim Dolganovsky.
