Famous rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh battled major depression and alcoholism at one point of time. The rap star had to take two and a half year sabbatical because of his mental illness and he recently opened up about the same in an interview. During the conversation, he went on to reveal that Shah Rukh Khan offered him support while he was battling mental health issues, while Deepika Padukone referred his family to a doctor. Calling it a dark phase, Honey Singh said there is no point in hiding the illness and that this is the message he wants to give out to all the people dealing with it.
