NEW DELHI: <a href="/topic/Nifty-IT" target="_blank">Nifty IT</a> index was trading with losses at 01:33PM (IST) on Friday.

<br> Shares of <a href="/topic/Coforge" target="_blank">Coforge</a> (up 8.07 per cent), <a target="_blank" href="/wipro-ltd/stocks/companyid-12799.cms">Wipro</a> (up 3.53 per cent), <a target="_blank" href="/tata-consultancy-services-ltd/stocks/companyid-8345.cms">Tata Consultancy</a> (up 1.64 per cent), <a target="_blank" href="/tech-mahindra-ltd/stocks/companyid-11221.cms">Tech Mahindra</a> (up 1.6 per cent) and MPhasis (up 1.02 per cent) were among the top gainers.

<br> While Info Edge (India) (down 0.82 per cent) was the sole loser in the index.

<br> The Nifty IT index was trading 1.23 per cent up at 18621.55 around 01:33PM.

<br> Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 7.10 points at 11442.15, while the BSE Sensex was down 53.73 points at 38786.59.

<br> Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 22 were trading in the green, while 28 were in the red.

<br> Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Tata Motors, SBI and Wipro were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

<br> Shares of Max Healthcare Institute Ltd., Strides Shasun , <a href="/topic/NIIT" target="_blank">NIIT</a> Tech, Wipro and Jubilant Food hit their fresh 52-week high in today's trade, while Uniinfo Telecom Services Ltd., AB Infrabuild Ltd., Kuantum Papers Ltd., We Win Ltd. and Mangalam Global Enterprise Ltd. hit fresh 52-week low in trade.
