Special court denies bail to Rhea Chakraborty, brother Showik Chakraborty and others in drug case related to Sushant Singh Rajut's death

A special court in Mumbai on Friday rejected the bail pleas filed by Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty, brother Showik Chakraborty and 3 others in the drug case linked to Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. Rhea's bail was reportedly rejected on the grounds that she might influence others and tamper evidence. She may now approach the High Court for the same. The magistrate court had earlier rejected her bail plea and granted the NCB 14-days of judicial custody until Sep 22. She has been booked under certain sections of the NDPS act, according to which, possession of drugs is not mandatory.
