Kerala state government aiming to resume tourism activities by the first week of October

Kerala state government is planning to resume tourism activities by the first week of October, said tourism minister Kadakampally Surendran. The minister said that the tourism department has come up with a detailed report regarding resumption of tourism activities in the state.


Surendran said that Kerala tourism is preparing a new marketing strategy for luring tourists to the state.


To quote the minister, “The plan includes highlighting importance of wellness and Ayurveda for immunity. The file has been presented to chief minister and health department for their advice.” Kerala tourism was back on track last year after the devastating deluge.
