Reporting a murder in the face of superstition was overshadowed by a young man. The police reached the spot, took him to the police station, and challenged him on charges of peace. This matter remained a topic of discussion throughout the day in the area.

The entire village of Furasaram of Meja had a crow sitting on the head of Ravita, wife of Praduman alias Mangal Singh of the village. In a superstition, Praduman reported Ravita's murder to her maternal uncle. The maiden took the matter seriously and informed the police by dialing 112 number. The Halakan police reached the spot on notice of the murder.

Investigations revealed that this information was given to Ravita's maternal aunt in the face of superstition. Kotwal of Meja police station Sunil Bajpayee said that action has been taken against Pradyuman on the charge of giving peace information. A warning has also been given that if such action is taken again, strict action will be taken.
