UP: Armed men loot Rs 35 lakh jewellery from Aligarh jewellery shop; loot recorded on CCTV

The incident of the robbery was captured on CCTV.
AGRA: In a day light robbery, three bike-borne miscreants, carrying country-made pistols, looted a jewellery shop in Aligarh’s Bannadevi area and decamped with Rs 40,000 cash and gold ornament worth Rs 35 lakh on Friday. The entire robbery was recorded on the CCTV’s installed in the shop.

Police said, three of the robbers had entered shop around 1 pmand after sanitising their hands, they took out pistols and looted jewellery and cash, while three customers were sitting there. They took 1 minute to loot cash and jewellery boxes, said police.
The shop owner, Sundar Verma, said that he has provided all details along with the cctv footage to the police. He said, “the robbers looted around 700 gram gold along with a cash bundle of Rs 40,000.”
SP city, Abhishek Kumar, said that a FIR has been registered. “We have circulated their photographs to all police stations and soon they will be nabbed,” said the SP.
