Skoda Rapid TSI Automatic Launch Date Revealed

• Skoda Rapid TSI automatic likely to be priced between Rs 9.5 lakh and Rs 13 lakh.
• It will be powered by a 110PS 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine.
• Rapid TSI Automatic range to kickstart from second-to-base Rider Plus variant.

We all know that Skoda is gearing up to launch the automatic variants of the Rapid TSI. Pre-launch bookings are open for a token amount of Rs 25,000 and we have already revealed the variants it will be offered ahead of its launch. Now, the Czech carmaker has announced that the Rapid TSI automatic will be launched on September 17. 

The automatic gearbox should increase the Rapid’s appeal as it will be offered right from the second-to-base Rider Plus variant. We expect it to command a premium of around Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2 lakh over its corresponding manual variant. Here’s a look at the Rapid manual’s prices:
