The war between Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut and the ruling Shiv Sena in Maharashtra is showing no signs of simmering down as both sides are stepping up their attacks and counterattacks.

A day after Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished a part of her bungalow at Pali Hill in Bandra, Kangana Ranaut accused CM Uddhav Thackeray of selling his father and Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray's ideology for power. Kangana accused CM Thackeray of turning Shiv Sena into 'Sonia Sena' and sending 'goons of BMC' to demolish her home.

Shiv Sena, on the other hand, has shrugged on Kangana incident and has said that the action was taken by the BMC and not the state government. However, a Mumbai-based advocate filed a complaint against Kangana Ranaut for allegedly using foul language against Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. The advocate is also likely to move the court with a defamation case against Kangana Ranaut.

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut's lawyer was able to extend the stay on demolition of the Pali Hill property till September 22. The Bombay High Court gave the extension after the actor's lawyer requested time for filing the rejoinder.

After the court hearing, Kangana Ranaut visited the demolished bungalow with her team.
