GREATER NOIDA: District administration teams on Thursday will conduct a fresh survey of houses that will be demolished for building the international airport in Jewar. As part of the survey, teams will visit the site and measure the area within the compound walls of the houses.
Over 3,600 families from the three villages of Rohi, Dayanatpur and Kishorpur will have to be rehabilitated for the construction of the airport. Earlier, under the land acquisition Act, the administration was offering them plots measuring half the size of the covered area of their house. Following which, villagers had demanded more land through Jewar BJP MLA Dhirendra Singh before the government and their appeal was forwarded to the government in July this year.
