In an effort by the city's F&B industry to bring customers joy in their homes, chefs join hands to serve up some inventive plates
With the city’s restaurants still shut for dine-in, chefs are looking at creative ways to jazz up their delivery offerings. Some are stepping out of their kitchens and trading ideas with other chefs to come up with fun collaborative menus that promise a table full of deliciousness. Here’s what to order in this month in Mumbai.
Morsel Miso Dirty Rice by Masque
To celebrate the restaurant’s 4th anniversary, chef Prateek Sadhu has roped in his friends—Alex Sanchez of Americano, O Pedro’s Hussain Shahzad, and Gresham Fernandes of Salt Water Café— for a three-day celebration with a set menu. Expect eclectic fare such as Corn Pudding Tamale with Goan Sausage, Cured Rawas in Coconut and Fermented Chilli Broth, Morel Miso Dirty Rice, and more.
Available from September 11-13 via Swiggy or call on 09819069222
Amber Mutton Biryani by O Pedro
Sister restaurants The Bombay Canteen and O Pedro channel their respective chefs’ hometowns for a taste of nostalgia. Chef Thomas Zacharias cooks up a Malayali storm with dishes like Soft Shell Crab Mappas Tacos served on uthappams with purple cabbage thoran and Amma’s Kappa Cutlets (twice-cooked tapioca patties). Chef Hussain Shahzad brings a taste of Tamil Nadu mixed with his Bohri heritage with Bone Marrow Pepper Fry, Ambur Mutton Biryani, and more.
