Dubai Tourism announces restart of MICE local events from September 15

Dubai Tourism has said that Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) local events can restart in the emirate from September 15.

A circular on Dubai Tourism website said that in tune with the directive of Dubai’s Covid-19 Command Control Center, the emirate’s tourism activities rules concerning facilities and services have been updated as below:

• MICE Local Event, starting from September 15, 2020;
• International MICE events, starting from October 1, 2020;
• Leisure and other events, starting from September 15, 2020
• Wedding and social private parties are still not allowed until further notice.
  

Dubai Tourism will keep on evaluating the situation and provide updates to the industry from time to time in consultation with relevant city health and crises response authorities.
