About 27.3 percent of men and 1.6 percent of women are alcohol addicts. This means that 17 men are drinking alcohol as compared to one woman who drinks every drink. About 30 percent of the total consumption of alcohol is made from domestic liquor produced domestically. Talking on the basis of alcohol addicts, Chhattisgarh, Tripura, Punjab, Arunachal, and Goa are the worst affected.
