Vaishali, a resident of Arumugampettai in Walajabad, was married with two children. After finishing her duty, Vaishali reached Tirusulam on a Metro train along with her sister-in-law. They then headed to Tambaram, from where she was supposed to take a bus to Walajabad.

Near Chromepet, the bike lost balance and Vaishali fell down, and was run over by a minivan. She died on the spot. The Chromepet traffic police sent the body for autopsy.
