\'Pakistan...\': Kangana on bungalow demolition

As workers of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday began demolishing Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika Films office, the actress shared photos from the site and simply captioned it as “Pakistan”.
“I am never wrong and my enemies prove again and again this is why my Mumbai is POK now,”she said while referring to her previous tweet, comparing the city to Pakistan occupied Kashmir, that created a huge stir on and off social media.

In her tweets on Wednesday morning, Kangana compared the civic body to the Mughal Emperor Babur and its workers to his army. “Babur and his army #deathofdemocracy,” she captioned the photos that saw BMC workers at the office premises with sledgehammers in hand.

The actress also compared her office space to the Ram Mandir and claimed that history was repeating itself as the BMC arrived to demolish some illegal altercations in the space. “The first film in Manikarnika films, Ayodhya was announced, it is not a building for me but Ram temple itself, today Babur has come there, today history will repeat itself Ram temple will be broken again but remember Babur this temple will be built again, this temple will be built again, Jai Shri Ram, Jai Shri Ram, Jai Shri Ram,” she said in her tweets.

The BMC, in its notice to the actress, pointed out some "illegal alterations" they had found on inspecting the space on Monday. According to reports, the civic body notified the actress and her legal team of the action that would be taken if she didn't respond in a 24-hour period.

The actor, who is scheduled to arrive in the city shortly, has alleged that the Maharashtra government is targeting her because of her fight with the Shiv Sena.

The BMC has posted a second notice outside her bungalow, informing of the action the civic body is set to take.

The BMC Tuesday filed a 'caveat' in a local court, saying it should be heard first if Ranaut challenges a stop- work notice issued to her.

Meanwhile, in a statement to ANI, the actress’ lawyer said, “No work being carried out by Kangana Ranaut in her premises as falsely understood by you, so the notice issued by you as "Stop Work Notice" is absolutely bad-in-law and appears to have been issued only to intimidate her by misusing your dominant position.”
