KURUKSHETRA: To contain and detect the spread of Covid-19, the
Kurukshetra district administration has established 10
new sample collection centers in private hospitals of the district.

Sharandeep Kaur Brar said the health department has been asked to collect samples at the maximum capacity at the urban and rural levels.
“For the convenience of the public, 10 new sample collection centers have been established in private hospitals and now people can go there and get themselves tested for Covid-19," said DC Brar.
She said as per the report of district civil surgeon Dr
Sukhbir Singh the health department is already collecting samples at LNJP civil hospital, Kurukshetra, community health centres (CHC) at Mathana, Babain, Ladwa, Shahabad, Jhansa, Pehowa along with four mobile sampling teams.
“Ten sample collection centers have been established including three in Shahabad at Adesh Medical College and Hospital, Miri Piri Medical College and Hospital and Sidharth Hospital; six in Kurukshetra at Agarwal Hospital on Salarpur Road, Arogyam Hospital, Dr
Lalit Hospital,
Virk Hospital, Radha Krishan Hospital, and SIMSS Hospital; and one in Pehowa at Saraswati Mission Hospital”, said DC Brar.
She said the senior medical officers (SMOs) concerned of all these areas will ensure coordination and the public can contact SMO in case of any problem or complaint.
