Oman has recommenced tourism activities in the country with the help of a new campaign encouraging citizens and residents to stand by local hotels and resorts.
The campaign is known as ‘Within Oman’ and it was launched by Omran Group, the Oman government’s tourism arm.
This new campaign aims to prop up local tourism with the help of thirteen participating hotels and resorts offering accommodation packages for citizens and residents of Oman.
Hafidh Al-Hadhrami, the asset manager at Omran Group, said that the campaign adheres to precautionary health measures with regard to COVID-19. He said that the tourism drive will emphasize the unique natural, heritage, and cultural experiences that Oman has to offer and will allow local visitors to be pleased about the country’s diversity.
This campaign is in the wake of various sectors in Oman restarting their business activities to alleviate the economic impact of the corona virus pandemic.
