Rhea Chakraborty claims threat to life in jail, seeks bail for the second time

After Rhea Chakraborty got arrested by the NCB in a drugs case linked to her boyfriend and actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death, the actress has once again moved a bail plea before a sessions court in Mumbai. In the fresh plea, Rhea’s advocate Satish Maneshinde said that the offences against her are bailable. The plea also said that in contravention with the law, Rhea was interrogated only by male officers and no woman officer or constable was present in the room. The plea also says that during her custody Rhea was coerced into making self-incriminating confessions and that given the circumstances, she feared for her life in jail. The plea said there is nothing on record to suggest that Rhea was in any way connected with the production, manufacture, possession, sale, purchase, transport, import, export or use of any cannabis, ganja or marijuana.
