The Harrier Dark Edition is currently the only stealthy Tata one can buy. Soon you could see more stealthy-looking Tatas on the road as the manufacturer has trademarked the Dark Edition and Camo Edition for select models.
The homegrown carmaker has trademarked the Dark Edition for models such as the Altroz, Tiago and Tigor, and the Camo Edition for the Tiago, Altroz and Harrier. Meanwhile, the government department has objected to the Nexon Dark Edition, Nexon Camo Edition and the Tigor Camo Edition as of now.
As the name suggests, the Dark Edition models could follow a similar theme as the Harrier Dark Edition with a black finish inside and out. On the other hand, we’ll have to wait for the carmaker to tease the Camo Edition for details.
The launch timeline for these special edition models is yet to be known, though we expect them to reach showrooms in the coming months. Just like the Harrier, they could be based on the higher variants only and cost around Rs 20,000 more than the standard variant. The Camo variants could also be priced at a similar premium. Here’s the price range of all these models for your reference:
Price Range (ex-showroom) |
|
Tiago |
Rs 4.69 lakh to Rs 6.73 lakh |
Tigor |
Rs 5.39 lakh to Rs 7.49 lakh |
Altroz |
Rs 5.44 lakh to Rs 9.35 lakh |
Harrier |
Rs 13.84 lakh to Rs 20.30 lakh |
