After declaration of result, the data is handed over to the Centralised Seat Allocation Board (CSAB)/JoSAA or the concerned State government or institute for seat allocation process and admission procedure. The NTA does not collect the information regarding the total number of seats available in the institutions and reservation criteria followed by the institutions, candidates need to check the same with the respective colleges.
Percentile scoring is a mechanism of given relative marks to students. Instead of the marks each candidate has gained, there will be a comparison between the candidates and those who have score maximum will get 100 percentile which can even mean 97/100.
