Sandalwood drug scandal: CCB raids Sanjjanaa Galrani's residence in Bengaluru

Just a few days after Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi was taken into custody in connection with drugs consumption, now, Sandalwood actress Sanjjanaa Galrani's house has been raided by the CCB. As per the reports, the CCB team reached Sanjjanaa's residence in Bengaluru's Indranagar around 6:30 AM on 8th September and sealed actress' mobile, laptop and other documents. Reports suggest that the actress' name came into the limelight after she was spotted partying with a drug supplier. A man named Rahul, whom Sanjjanaa addressed as her rakhi brother, was earlier arrested. Some time back, filmmaker Indrajit Lankesh made some shocking claims alleging Sandalwood had connections with the drug mafia. This very statement seems to have opened a can of worms leading to investigations by the authorities.
