MUMBAI: As part of investigation into Elgar Parishad case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) served notices to two sons-in-law of poet and member of Revolutionary Writers’ Association (RWA) Varavara Rao, who is in judicial remand.
NIA officials in a September 1 notice directed professor at English and Foreign Languages University in Hyderabad, K Satyanarayana, and another son-in-law to appear before the investigation officer at NIA’s office in Mumbai on Wednesday.
“The fact of Varavara Rao being my father-in-law was used to raid my house and cause mental agony,” Satyanarayana said.
