President’s aide-de-camp tests positive for covid19

President Paula Mae-Weekes’ aide de camp tested positive for covid19 over the weekend.

The President’s communications advisor Cheryl Lalla confirmed the news on Monday evening in a phone interview with Newsday.

In keeping with protocols outlined by the Ministry of Health, Lalla said the office is now being sanitised and the President is in self-quarantine.

She also said several members of staff have been tested for the virus and are awaiting results.
