
For the first time in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the prime accused Rhea Chakraborty has filed a complaint against the actor’s family with the Mumbai Police. Rhea, who is being investigated by several agencies in connection with Sushant’s death, has alleged that the actor’s sister, Priyanka Singh, and a doctor from Ram Manohar Lohia hospital got the actor psychiatric drugs without consultation and by using a forged prescription.
Rhea in her complaint asked the Bandra police to investigate if these medications, which fall under the ambit of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, resulted in the deterioration of Sushant’s mental health or his death on June 14.
Rhea Chakraborty, herself, is being questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau, which is probing a drug angle linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. She has visited the NCB office twice so far. Her younger brother Showik Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput’s house manager Samuel Miranda are among those arrested in the drugs case.
In another tweet, Raveena Tandon wrote, "I detest what has happened. I detest what is happening. I believe the law will take its course. I believe justice will prevail. I stand for what will be the truth. I refuse to take any political side. Or be part of any Pr Campaign. Or mud slinging on any person until verdict of Law."

According to The Indian Express reporters, bail applications of Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and other accused in the case have been kept for hearing by the sessions court tomorrow.
Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) spokesperson Manish Doshi on Tuesday, alleged that the Gujarat government entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) of Rs 177 crore with Sandip Ssingh in 2019 due to their “close relationship”. It said that the BJP is silent about its relationship with the Bollywood producer who has been recently questioned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the case.

Anurag Kashyap has been sharing a series of tweets ever since Rhea Chakraborty was arrested in Tuesday.
Criticising Rhea Chakrabort's arrest, her lawyer Satish Maneshinde said in a statement, "This is a travesty of justice, with three central agencies hounding a single woman just because she was in love with a drug addict, (who) was suffering from mental health issues for several years, (was) under the care of five leading psychiatrists in Mumbai and ended up committing suicide due to consumption of illegally administered medicines and used drugs."

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap on Wednesday tweeted screenshots of the conversation he had with Sushant Singh Rajput's manager on May 22.

Actor Rhea Chakraborty is the tenth person to be arrested in the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case. Her brother Showik, Rajput’s former cook Dipesh Sawant and former housekeeper Samuel Miranda have already been arrested in the case. The death of Rajput, who had died by suicide on June 14, has seen many twists and turns so far.
Nearly three months after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday arrested actress Rhea Chakraborty in a drugs case. On Wedneday, PTI tweeted, "Rhea Chakraborty (has been) taken from NCB office to Byculla jail."
Rhea Chakraborty's arrest comes after NCB questioned her for three days.
Sushant's sister Shweta Singh Kriti posted an Instagram post where she wrote, "Dead can’t speak so blame it on the dead!"
Shweta has been actively posting about her brother SSR's probe on social media.
The Narcotics Control Bureau said it had enough evidence and hence didn't need police custody for her. “We arrested her, which means we have enough evidence. Since we have already questioned her in the past few days, we don’t need to interrogate her any more,” said Deputy DG Mutha Ashok Jain.
Seeking judicial custody for Rhea, NCB, in its remand application, said the actor was involved in procuring drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput and both paid for it. This proves she was “an active member of a drug syndicate”, NCB said.

Rhea is the tenth person to be arrested in the case, after her brother Showik, Rajput’s former cook Dipesh Sawant and former housekeeper Samuel Miranda, among others. The NCB said they placed Rhea under arrest based on WhatsApp chats and the statements of the other accused.
