Senior citizens can now travel on PMPML buses

PUNE: Senior citizens above the age of 65 will be able to travel by Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) buses from Tuesday. According to sources, the decision was taken in view of the demand from senior citizens and activists. “Children below the age of 10 will not be allowed in the buses,” an official said.
The PMPML authorities also proposed a fare hike in the board meeting.
