Indian Army in a statement said that at no stage has it transgressed across the LAC or resorted to use of any aggressive means. The comments came after the PLA accused Indian troops of crossing the LAC and firing shots to deter Chinese patrol guards in the Pangong area. “At no stage has the Indian Army transgressed across the Line of Actual Control (LAC) or resorted to use of any aggressive means, including firing. It is the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) that has been blatantly violating agreements and carrying out aggressive manoeuvres, while engagement at military, diplomatic and political level is in progress,” said the Indian Army.
