Actor Sabyasachi Mishra has been in the news during the lockdown for his relentless effort in bringing migrants home. Even though he was busy in his endeavour to help people, he managed to shoot for a film just when the unlock process started.
His film is also based on a theme related to the lockdown period. Titled Lucky Ra Lockdown Love Story, the film has Tamanna Vyas opposite Sabya. Talking about the shoot, Sabyasachi said that it was a different experience for him to shoot this film during a crisis period. “I was busy in contacting and coordinating with people all over the country who were trying desperately to come home. The migrants shifting to their hometown was at its peak and I had to still find out time for my shoot,” said the Pagal Premi actor.
He added that in most of his films, he had always been involved in various stages of production. But for the first time in past 10 years, he was involved in this film only as an actor.“I always become a part of the production by helping the director as an assistant or becoming a production controller or line producer, editing assistant and by doning many more roles. But in this film, I was involved only during the time between action and cut. Rest of the time, I was on phone arranging buses or meals or other things for the migrants,” said the actor.
The film was mostly shot indoors with three–four days of outdoor shooting. The team took all precautions to avoid crowd gathering during the outdoor shooting. Even the senior artistes had to work from home. “A skeletal crew and required actors were visiting the senior actors’ houses where they were recording their portions,” Sabya shared.
