Mumbai: Autorickshaw hits BEST bus in Mulund; 2 auto passengers injured

MUMBAI: Two autorickshaw passengers were injured when the three-wheeler hit a BEST bus and overturned near Mulund bus depot in Mulund West in Mumbai on Monday.
The injured were taken to Agarwal hospital by the bus conductor for treatment while the auto driver absconded from the spot, a BEST official said.
The official further said that the autorickshaw came "suddenly from a lane" and hit the bus which was plying on the main road. The autorickshaw was mangled after the accident.
"The passengers have given in writing to the police that they do not have any complaint against the BEST driver," said BEST spokesperson Manoj Varade.
