INDIA ranked second with around 42 lakh CORONA cases!

In the country till late Sunday night, due to more than 86 thousand new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, the number of infected people reached close to 42 lakh and with this, India remained in the second place in the world. During this period, the death toll of 969 corona patients in the country crossed 71 thousand.

By Saturday, the US was first and Brazil second in terms of infection. The total number of infected in the country has now reached 41,97,483. The number of people infected with a corona in the US, considered a global superpower, has crossed 62 lakh to 62,49,163 and so far 1,88,634 people have lost their lives.

Brazil, ranked second among Corona virus-affected countries in the world, has so far been infected with 41,23,000 people while 1,26,203 people have died. Brazil still ranks second in terms of death. Amidst the growing havoc of Corona in India, it is a matter of concern that there has been a decrease in the number of patients recovering. During this period, the number of people who got infection-free from 65,009 people reached 32,42,682. Due to this, again a partial decline in recovery rate was recorded.

According to information received from various states including Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka, till late tonight a total of 86,644 new cases were reported, the total number of infected reached close to 42 lakhs while the number of dead has reached 71,648.

It is a matter of concern that there is an increase in new infected as compared to healthy patients, due to which an increase in active cases is being recorded. Today the number of active cases has increased to 8,82,530 with an increase of 20,220 patients.

The case of active cases in the country is 21.40 percent and the rate of deportation is 77.23 percent while the rate of death is 1.7 percent. The rate of patients recovering from 77.3 percent last day to 77.23 percent today.

In Maharashtra, the most severely affected by the pandemic, the number of infectives has risen to 9,07,212, crossing 9 lakh tonight after a record of 23,355 new cases of infection were reported during the last 24 hours. Today, for the second consecutive day, new cases of corona have been reported in the state. Earlier on Saturday, 20,800 new cases were reported, which was the highest ever in the state.

During this period, the number of people recovering as compared to new cases has also declined and during this period 7,826 more patients have become healthy and the number of people getting relieved from infection has increased to 6,44,400. The number of deaths has increased to 26,6404 in the state due to the death of 328 more patients during this period.

The rate of recovery of patients in the state today came down to 71.03 percent, which was 72.02 percent on Saturday, while the death rate of patients was 2.93 percent. After registering an increase of 15,196 patients in the state, the pyre has increased. The number of active corona cases in the state reached 2,35,857 today which was 2,20,661 on Saturday
