Even the shortage of oxygen a person crossed Hamta and Rohtang by running

Kiran D'Souza, a resident of Nagpur, Maharashtra, ran 126 km in 19 hours from Manali in the midst of oxygen shortage, crossing Hamta at 4290 meters and Rohtang Pass at 3978 meters. Kiran D'Souza started the race from Manali's Mall Road at 4 pm on 4 September. Preeti, Sethan, and Hamta pass the pass through Rohtang Pass via Lahaul-Spiti and reach Manali.

Manali administration has also uploaded this achievement and journey on its official Facebook page. In a special conversation with Amar Ujala, D'Souza said that he has been living in Nasogi village of Manali for the last five years. He has also participated in many competitions abroad. Kiran told that in completing this journey, he was accompanied by two instructors of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Mountaineering Sports Institute. While people have difficulty breathing, they ran through Hamta and Rohtang Pass.

It took 4 to 5 hours to cross Hamta Pass and he did not give up even when he had breathing problems. The film will be released soon on his achievement. Kiran was welcomed by the locals on reaching Manali at around 7 pm on September 5. On the other hand, SDM Manali Raman Gharsangi wrote on Facebook that The Running Man Kiran D'Souza completed 126 kilometers in 19 hours to Manali via Manali-Hamta, Chhatdu, Rohtang.
