Councillor Nadine Stewart-Phillips on Monday donated Samsung tablets to four students of the Ebenezer Methodist Primary School, to aid their online learning as the new school term begins virtually.

Stewart-Phillips, assistant secretary in the Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development, is a past student of the school, in Betsy's Hope.

She made the personal donation after discussion with teachers at the school who provided the names of students who needed help.
In a press release, Stewart-Phillips said the gesture was made "to ensure no child is left behind."

The release said school principal Lorne Thomas, teachers, parents and students were grateful for the donation.
