Bigg Boss Telugu 4: Confirmed list of contestants this season

Bigg Boss Telugu season 4 hosted by Nagarjuna Akkineni is all set to entertain from tonight (September 6). The premiere episode which will air at 6PM will see host Nagarjuna Akkineni introducing the 16 contestants of the season and locking them inside the BB house. This season is expected to have an interesting line up of contestants that includes actors, TV celebs and social media influencers as well. Here's a quick look at the confirmed list of contestants in BB Telugu 4.

Born Arumugam Rajashekar aka Amma Rajasekhar is a choreographer, director, and actor known for his work in films such as Ranam, Takkari, Satyam, and Salute, among many others.

After a brief stint as a director, Amma Rajasekhar later forayed into Telugu television. He judged popular dance reality TV shows 'Challenge' hosted by Ohmkar along with Shiva Shankar Master, 'Gharshana' hosted by Shilpa Chakraborty along with Sangeetha and Baba Bhaskar, Rangam 2 hosted by Udaya Bhanu along with Gautami and Nataraj Master.

He is now making a comeback to Telugu TV with Bigg Boss Telugu season 4 hosted by Nagarjuna Akkineni.

Subramani Radha Suresh aka Surya Kiran is a writer and director. His most notable films as a director include Satyam and Dhana 51 starring Sumanth, and Raju Bhai starring Manchu Manoj.

Surya Kiran was seen as a child actor to many South Indian superstars like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna Akkineni and many others in over 200 movies. He had an unplanned hiatus due to financial losses incurred due to his movie productions but the talented director tried to make his comeback as a director. Interestingly, Surya Kiran will now be seen in the show Bigg Boss Telugu season 4 hosted by Nagarjuna Akkineni.

Padala Kalyani aka Karate Kalyani is an actress, comedian, and martial artist predominantly working in the Telugu film industry. Her most pronounced roles include comedy performances in movies like Mirapakay, Krishna, and Godavari. She earned the name 'Karate Kalyani' as she holds a black belt in the martial art form Karate.

Kalyani has also become a household name with her performances in hit TV serials like Madhumasam, Muthyala Muggu and Goranta Deepam. The dynamic actress with devil-may-care attitude is one of the most anticipated contestants this season.

He is a singer, rapper, actor, television host, RJ, VJ, and much more. This multifaceted personality shot to fame with the hit number 'Maha Maha' from Charmme's Mantra in 2007, and never looked back. He was a high profile radio jockey for a private FM channel and one of the pioneering rappers in Telugu music fraternity.

He was familiar to the Telugu television audiences as he hosted the shows Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs in 2010 and Super Kutumbam in 2013. He campaigned for his bestie and BB Telugu 3 winner Rahul Sipligunj on social media and made an appearance in one of the episodes in support of Rahul as well. He is well aware of the format and the game play. It remains to be seen how Noel will perform in the show besides entertaining fans with his raps.

Lasya Manjunath is a TV show host and actor, who first shot to fame with her show 'Something Special' alongside anchor Ravi in 2012. The show was a huge hit among young audiences and the couple attracted a lot of eyeballs with their anchoring stint. After the success of Something Special, she hosted a variety of TV shows like 'Mondi Mogudu Penki Pellam' in 2014, Maa Oori Vanta in 2016, and 'Dhee Ultimate Dance Show' in 2017.

Lasya and husband Manjunath welcomed their baby boy Daksh in 2019 which prompted her to take a break from movies and TV shows. But Lasya entertained her fans as a social media influencer with her video series 'Lasya Talks' with content on her daily life, cooking, yoga and more. She is now making her much needed comeback to television with Bigg Boss Season 4 and is eager to make a strong impression, like always.

Jabardasth Avinash is a self-made comedian and mimicry artist, who shot with his performances on the comedy show 'Jabardasth' especially the 'Mukku skit' in 2015.

From playing supporting roles to the status of a team leader, he rose to fame in the comedy show Jabardasth. He also featured on popular TV shows 'Patas', and movies like 'Nanna, Nenu, Na Boyfriends' and 'Vajra Kavachadhara Govinda', to name a few.

Born and brought up in Rajamahendravaram, Andhra Pradesh, Devi Nagavalli is a renowned Telugu news presenter and a journalist, currently working with a reputed news channel. She is popular for her on-ground reporting, striking interviews with political and film personalities.

Devi holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and started her career as a graphic designer after completing a certificate course in it. She wanted to pursue the same but fate had other plans for her when she got selected for presenting news and later she pursued a diploma in Mass Communication.

He shot to fame with his debut Telugu film 'Life is Beautiful' directed by Sekhar Kammula. He shares a coincidental association with the Akkineni family. With Nagarjuna Akkineni being his biggest inspiration to become an actor, he had also worked with Amala Akkineni in his very first movie and expressed his love for the family on multiple occasions. Now, he is taking part in Bigg Boss Telugu season 4 which marks his small screen debut as well. Apart from Life is Beautiful, he also featured in a popular web series. It remains to be seen how Abhijeet can entertain fans on the reality TV show.

Telugu comedian Saikumar Pampana has been roped in for the show. He was approached for the show very recently due to the exit of a contestant, sources reveal. Saikumar is known for his performance as a sidekick in the Telugu films Ee Rojullo, Busstop and Lovers. He is admired for his slick comic timing.

YouTube sensation Gangavva aka Milkuri Gangavva is participating in the upcoming season. Amid Corona scare, this 58-year-old YouTuber’s participation in the show is something to watch out for.

Popular Instagrammer Mehaboob Shaikh is also one of the confirmed contestants of this season. He is popular for his cover songs and other fun videos. And the talented actor-dancer enjoys a huge following on Instagram with over 240k followers. Though an official confirmation is awaited, it remains to be seen how he can entertain in the show.

Syed Sohel Ryan is a Telugu actor who made his debut with 2013 film Music Magic as a lead actor and appeared in films like Cine Mahal, Konapuram Lo Jarigina Katha, Eureka and others.

He got close to the telly audience with his performance as Arjun in the widely watched Telugu daily soap, ‘Krishnaveni' and other shows like Nathicharami. Besides a passionate actor, he is a travel enthusiast as well. This talented actor will be one the most promising contestants in the season.

He made his acting debut with the 2016 Telugu movie Bava Maradalu and later tasted success on Telugu TV with the shows Evare Nuvvu Mohini in 2017, Bangaru Gajulu and Kalyani in 2019. He was also listed in the Hyderabad Times Most Desirable Men of Telugu TV.

The Hyderabadi girl, who graduated in MBA, is all set to up her game and fame with Bigg Boss Telugu season 4. Her pictures and videos on Instagram speak volumes of her passion for acting.
