Plawecki was hit on the hand by a pitch in the seventh inning. Roenicke said postgame X-rays came up negative, which was a nice surprise for Plawecki himself after getting drilled by the fastball.


"I thought I broke it, I’ll be honest with you," he said. "The big man upstairs was looking out for me, thank goodness. Dodged a bullet."
