According to officials, the offenders had a transportation bill of household items to be shifted to GurugramHYDERABAD: The Medchal Prohibition and Excise sleuth on Saturday caught narcotic peddlers for transporting 326kg ganja to Gurugram, Haryana using packer and mover service.
The owner of VRL packers and movers in Secunderabad and kingpin, Ajith Sharma is still at large. His driver, Sanjay Sharma, another employee, Nadeemulla Khan, and Suresh Sharma, Manager of AK Transport packer’s and movers were arrested by the officials. All are residents of Old Bowenpally in Secunderabad.
The kingpin Ajith had bought the marijuana from Visakhapatnam district in Andhra Pradesh to send it to his brother, Ajay Sharma, staying in Gurugram to sell it to customers there, said the officials. Ajith along with another movers & packers and a transportation service firm had concealed 326kg of ganja behind the cartons containing household items.
According to officials, the offenders had a transportation bill of household items to be shifted to Gurugram. The ganja worth Rs 30 lakh was seized from their possession and all three arrested offenders were booked under the NDPS Act.
