Bigg Boss Telugu 4 Launch Live: Bigg Boss Telugu 4 airs on Star Maa.Bigg Boss Telugu has returned for the fourth time with actor Nagarjuna as the host. The contestants of Bigg Boss Telugu 4 are Surya Kiran, Monal Gajjar, Abijeet Duddala, Lasya Manjunath, Sujatha, Ariyana Glory, Syed Sohel Ryan, Alekhya Harika, Devi Nagavalli, Mehaboob Shaikh, Amma Rajasekhar, Karate Kalyani, Noel Sean, Divi Vadthya, Akhil Sarthak and Gangavva.
Unlike other iterations of the reality show, Bigg Boss Telugu has featured different hosts every season except this season, which brings back Nagarjuna. While the first season of the reality show was hosted by Jr NTR, the second season was hosted by Nani.
Bigg Boss Telugu is a spinoff of Bigg Boss, which itself is derived from the international reality TV series (originally Dutch) called Bigg Brother, developed by John de Mol.
In a statement, Nagarjuna had said, “It was fun being back on the shoot floor for the promo. After the tremendous success of last season, this year, our effort will be to up the ante and deliver even more entertainment and surprises for our viewers.”
Speaking about his look in the teaser, he had added, “Playing 3 characters and getting the body language, voice and mannerisms right in such a short span of time was quite a challenge but I enjoyed it thoroughly. I am a believer that life, hope and entertainment should never stop. We have all had a tough few months and I think clean wholesome entertainment is one of the luxuries we can all enjoy and our promise this year is to deliver exactly that with Bigg Boss season 4.”
The house is now locked by Nagarjuna. And the housemates will remain in the house for next 15 weeks.
Gangavva is partnered up with Noel. Nagarjuna in no uncertain terms tells the contestants, "You will be in trouble if you don't take proper care of her." That's a lot of pressure on other contestants, indeed.
YouTuber Gangavva is the sixteenth contestant of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4. Gangavva is a native of Lambadipally village of Telangana state's Jagitial district. She is a farmer and a YouTube personality. She has even acted in films like Mallesam, and ISmart Shankar.
The fifteenth contestant of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4 is actor Akhil Sarthak.
There is a story behind his name Akhil. He recalls Nagarjuna's Sisindri, the remake of Hollywood film Baby's Day Out, was released the day he was born. The film featured Nagarjuna's son Akhil as the baby. So the family decided to name him after the actor's son.
The fourteenth contestant of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4 is actor Divi Vadthya. Divi was seen in Mahesh Babu's Maharishi. She has also done a few web shows.
The thirteenth contestant of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4 is rapper, composer and actor Noel Sean. He is known for his roles in Eega, Magadheera, Premam to name a few. After delivering a dance performance, he raps about Bigg Boss.
The twelfth contestant of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4 is actor Karate Kalyani.
The eleventh contestant of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4 is choreographer-turned-director Amma Rajasekhar. He is known for movies like Monarch and Ranam 2. He is the mentor of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 3 contestant Baba Bhaskar.
The tenth contestant of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4 is TV anchor Ariyana Glory.
