Sankhali: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Sunday maintained that his health is absolutely fine, and that he is continuing with home quarantine at his official residence ‘Mahalaxmi’ at Altinho-Panaji.
Speaking to ‘The Navhind Times’ over the telephone, Sawant said, “I am doing all my routine work. I am also taking some rest. I have become vegetarian, and I strictly follow the diet plan.”
The Chief Minister said that he is in contact with officials and also clearing important files for the smooth functioning of state administration.
He said that he is doing yoga and ‘pranayama’, adding that the files are being sanitised.
“I have taken all the precautions, and nobody should worry for my health,” Sawant observed.
On the law and order situation in the state, he said that ‘goonda raj’ will not be tolerated and that culprits will be sent behind bars.
Sawant was hopeful of positive news on the mining issue, maintaining that the state will be able to restart mining activities very soon.
