The young squad members are eager to learn from the more experienced campaigners.

Local rugby looks set to return in October in the form of a domestic competition featuring seven franchises - the Bulls, Lions, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs, Pumas and Griquas.

The Southern Kings have indicated that they will take no further part this year due to financial constraints.
