The number of people affected by corona infection in the state is increasing rapidly. Along with this, the graph of active patients (admitted to hospitals) is also increasing. Within a month, active patients have doubled in the state. The infection rate has been 5.46 percent, the highest ever, based on sample investigations.

The first case of corona infection in the state was found in Dehradun on 15 March. Since then, the number of coronae infected has exceeded 21 thousand. At the same time, active patients have also exceeded six and a half thousand. On August 2, the number of active patients in the state was 3032, which has now increased to 6442.

According to the health department report, 4884 corona patients are being treated in Dehradun, Udham Singh Nagar, Haridwar, and Nainital district only. While 1558 corona patients are admitted in the other nine districts. In four plains districts, the pressure of treatment for the infected is continuously increasing.

Anoop Nautiyal, the founder of the Social Development for Community Foundation, which is studying the Corona figures, says the infection rate in the sample investigation is steadily increasing. The graph of active patients is advancing rapidly, such a situation is serious for the region.

Establishments kept closed on the death of two traders

At the same time, a well-known farmer and businessman from the railway road resident area have also died in AIIMS. The death of two people created an atmosphere of mourning in the entire region.
